The course of surviving (coded as KB) is organized for those who plan to go abroad in the nearest future.
The course is aimed at those who are going on a holiday or a business trip abroad.
The characteristics of the course:
Having elementary knowledge of the English language you will have a ticket to the world of fascinating trips and unbelievable adventures.
“The course of surviving” and the text-book with the same name (+CD) will let you have the minimum level of necessary and important knowledge in a short period of time.
Every single lesson is dedicated to a separate topic. During the lessons the students take part in numerous trainings which reflect situations of real communication in English speaking surrounding. The students get acquainted with the culture of English speaking countries and are given advice how to behave in certain everyday situations.
The result of the course:
Having finished the course you will be able to :

• speak about yourself;
• feel comfortable in the airport;
• take your bearings in the city;
• check in to the hotel;
• order food and pay on the bill;
• consult a doctor and buy medicine, if necessary;
• conduct a telephone conversation;
• buy tickets and use different kinds of transport;
• appoint business meetings and take part in negotiations;
•  exchange the currency and talk to bank employees.

  The lesson lasts for 120 minutes.
   The duration of the course is 40 academic hours. On the programme you can work every day or several times a week. So your studying may last from 2 weeks to 1 month.
